MAC Eyeshadows in Golden Lemon (Pigment), Texture (crease), Embark (cut crease), Carbon (cut crease / lower lash line). Classic Smokey Eyes Using Eyeliner Pencil Only

Tuesday, November 3, 2015

11_2_2015_A how-to-smokeyeyes_web
HOW-TO:

1. Use a soft black eyeliner pencil all over your eyelids up to the above  the crease or fold and to the lower lash line. It doesn’t have to be perfect since we will blend it.

2. By using a clean blending brush, blend the above the crease (back and forth). It is important not to hold your brush too close to the ferrule. Try to hold the brush on the middle part of the handle (this helps to have a soft brushstroke). Also, use the lower end of the bristle/hair not the side.

3. By using a clean flat brush, start to blend the lower lash line and connect the lower outer lash line to the outer V (see the image #3). Again, use the lower end of the bristle/hair for blending.

4. (Optional) Apply your favorite mascara or use a glamorous false lashes. And you are DONE!

Makeup tip: If you’ve noticed that your eyeliner pencil is hard/dry. Try to use a blow dryer to soften it and then gently rub it at the back of your hand. OR, buy a new one. Maybe it’s too old 😉 (Hi Mother, are you listening to me? 😉 )

I used NYC waterproof eyeliner pencil in black and Ardell False Lashes

For the tears: I mixed a mixing gloss (not a lipgloss) + Pink Glitters from Sally Beauty Supply on a palette and use a pointed art brush to apply under my eyes. I used a lot of glitters than gloss so it will show up on the photo.

Special thanks to my mother-in-law for the roses and Alma Lapuebla for the title :-)
