It helps me unwind and do something else while my kids are on their nap. Here are some of my favorite notes to share for those planning to blog, or who are new to it. Know Your Topic I started to blog about makeup and also photography because that is something I love […]

Obviously, my boys love super heroes 😉 Close up look for my makeup using lipstick sheer in “little black dress” from limited edition lip set and a last-minute DIY wonder woman costume. It was easy! I wanted to share today a last-minute halloween makeup tutorial. It is simple and suitable for Halloween celebrations! I couldn’t help making at one creepy look for this year’s Halloween makeup post! Check them out here. 😉 I think this last-minute halloween makeup tutorial is a great idea for those who work during the day and want to do something “fun” on the day of Halloween. instagram filter inspired makeup look tutorial video

Today, I’m excited to share my first makeup tutorial video. Thanks kids for taking a nap, so that Mommy could put this together. 😉 This look is inspired by Instagram Filters. I know some of you are enjoying these filters, like I am. That’s why I wanted to do a pretty makeup look and also share an easy DIY golden leaf crown, that you can wear for Halloween. As some of you know, I liked creepy Halloween looks before and I’ve been slowly trying to stuff on pretty side rather than the scary side. I have kids around me now […]

Our shared room with baby + organic baby mattress

Sunday
shared room with baby organic crib mattress (8)

This post is sponsored by My Green Mattress, but all opinions are honest and my own. Brent and I always wanted to sleep close to the new baby, before he turned one year old. Our first two sons slept in a bassinet as babies, during the first few weeks after I gave birth to them. I found it easier to get up and feed them, most especially when they were still waking up at night frequently. When I gave birth to my third son, I really didn’t expect that he would be the biggest baby I have ever had. He […]

Easy, Moist Banana Muffins

Thursday
easy moist banana muffins 2 hero

These easy, moist banana muffins are one of my favorite recipes. I love to bake them for breakfast (eating them with some scrambled eggs and bacon) or just for a snack. I rarely share recipes on this blog about my home-baked food, but if I do, it because it is something that I absolutely love the taste of. It took a while for me to learn how to bake, because in the Philippines, my family never had an oven. I’m so thankful that I learned. Now, I don’t need to buy muffins at the store. Instead, I can make it […]
