Flashback to Thailand and Thai Food

Thursday
hello island mama thailand travel railay

If Brent and I were given the chance to choose where to be right now, we’d probably both say, “Thailand” because of the food!! It’s a place that is dear to my husband’s heart because he spent a few years teaching kids there. For me, this particular trip is special because it was my first time traveling outside of the Philippines. We traveled back to Thailand together a few more times after that, but we can’t wait to bring our kids along. We want them to explore the nature, beaches, waterfalls, caves, and of course, we want them to eat a lot of good food!

Do you ever use “xoxo” at the end of your emails or messages? I barely use it, but I thought it’d be cute to use for this Valentine’s Day banner decoration. This banner is now hanging on my workspace to get into the Valentine’s Day spirit! Today, I wanted to share this easy and cute “xoxo” banner, that is a perfect addition for your decorations. Yet, here we are! We had so many adjustments to make learning about each other’s cultural beliefs and habits, personalities, and even our own families.

Finding your daily “me-time”

As a parent, we all have different struggles with how to find time for ourselves. Before I had my third son, I tried to wake up a few minutes before my two eldest, so I could start my day quietly. But now, since our 5 month old still wakes up a few times at night, I’d rather wait for our human alarm clocks (our two older boys) to wake us up. I thought to share a few ways that help me recharge as a full-time mom with my three boys.

My current makeup routine for dull weather

Monday
current makeup routine for dull weather (2) a

Winter is not my favorite season, but instead of keep focusing on how ugly and difficult it can be to live in a country with cold weather, I just spend a few minutes to myself for pampering and putting makeup on. Sometimes, it’s better to do something for myself to change how I feel and how I view things, since I obviously can’t change the weather and bring the Philippine weather here. 😉
